Counselors Corner

Who are School Counselors?

School Counselors are certified professionals who help students academically, socially, and personally through increasing self awareness and coping skills.

What services are available through the counseling department?

The counselors provide classroom guidance to all grades, short term individual counseling, group counseling, parent and teacher consultation, and referral assistance to other services in the community.

The following specific activities are offered by the counseling program: 

1) Monthly classroom lessons related to positive personal growth and development.
2) Individual sessions to address personal, social, and academic issues related to school.
3) Support groups to address topics such as, coping with divorce and friendship groups.
4) Parent and teacher consultations to address personal, academic, and social issues pertaining to school
