Students of St. Catherine of Siena
School participate in music and drama programs beginning in
pre-kindergarten and continuing doing so thru grade 7. Each grade performs at least once during the school year.
Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students perform during
the Christmas season and at the end of the school year.
Sometimes, homeroom teachers add additional performances for
Grandparents' Day or other special occasions. In order to
give the best performance possible for their families and students,
performers in grades 1 thru 7 practice with music and
drama teachers for 3 to 4 weeks during school hours before
the show opens.
Kindergarten: Christmas and End of Year Programs
First: Disney Revue
Second: Christmas or American Play
Third: Sesame Street
Fourth & Fifth: SHOUT (Christian musical)
Sixth: Christmas or Passion Play (offered some options)
Seventh: Broadway, Movie or TV related Performances (offered some options)
