The Blue & Gold Shop is located in the hallway of the Cafeteria building. The Blue & Gold Shop carries PE uniforms, sweatshirts, hoodies, pencil pouches and various SCS gear! Items may be purchased online at www.scsbluegold.com. All in-stock items purchased through the online shop will be delivered to the classroom within 5-7 days. The physical shop is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8-8:30 AM.
The School Supply Sub-Committee is responsible for ordering the school supplies each year. At the beginning of the year, the committee organizes the school supplies and coordinates the delivery of those supplies to each classroom.

The Book Fair Committee coordinated the efforts of the school library to host the annual Scholastic Book Fair which is a week long fundraiser for the Library held every Spring.

The Council of Catholic Schools Cooperative Clubs (CCSCC) www.ccscc.catholicweb.com is the umbrella organization for all parent clubs in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. We sponsor the Keep Christ in Christmas billboards and student contests, Clothe-A-Child campaign, participate in Co-op Club of the Year and Publicity contests as well as sponsor the Regina Matrum award, school principals' luncheon and Archdiocesan Christmas luncheon and various lobbying and service efforts on behalf of Catholic schools each year.

The Campus Beautification Committee was formed within the Co-Op in order to focus on improving the cosmetic appearance of certain aspects of Saint Catherine of Siena School. This Committee also monitors the school playground for the safety of the children. This includes repairs, updates, and cleanliness. With the aid of the Men's Club, they repair rotten wood, broken ladders, sharp nails exposed, etc.

The Community Fundraising Committee coordinates fundraising efforts offered by businesses. Typically, SCS will receive a portion of the total sales or purchases made by SCS parents and faculty. The Fair Committee consists of the two fair chairs, who coordinate the annual school fair. Subcommittees include: Sponsorships, Food and Beverage, and various class booths, such as Basket Booth, Parade of Prizes, and Confetti Eggs. This is the school’s largest fundraising event!

In an effort to welcome new families to our SCS Community, the Gator Buddy Program was created. New moms are paired with current moms so connections can be made to ease in their transition into our school community. The current mom "Gator Buddy" acts as a resource for the new moms to answer any questions they may have throughout their first year and beyond!

The Healthy Kids Committee incorporates wellness programming into the SCS school curriculum. Activities include a Father/Son Talk, a Mother/Daughter Talk, Vision & Hearing Screenings, Kids Get Fit activities and monthly Healthy Food Samples in the cafeteria.

The Room Captain Coordinators oversee the selection process of Room Captains, Grade Level Coordinators (2 nd & 7 th) and Fair Coordinators. They also implement Teacher Appreciation Week in the Spring and oversee the collection of monetary gifts for the faculty as well as class parties during the holidays.

SCS Cares Committee is dedicated to providing SCS students with the opportunity to engage in Christian charity. The goal of SCS Cares is to educate students about the needs of others and to instill in the students the belief that it is our duty as Catholics to help others in need. It is our mission to teach SCS students the virtue of Christian charitable giving and to provide SCS students with the platform to help others. Activities coordinated by this committee include Caps for Kids, Coats for Kids, and St. Michael’s Mardi Gras Bead Drive.

Committee coordinates Meals in Ministry and Prayer line. Meals In Ministry delivers meals for families and faculty that are in need of help during a difficult time. Often, these meals are coordinated through a care calendar online. All meal and prayer requests are sent to the Sick & Fraternal Chair who then contacts committee members to coordinate prayers and meals as needed.

The Student Enrichment Committee plans student events/activities that correlate with core learnings in the classroom. The activities will enhance what is taking place in the classroom and hopefully create a deeper understanding, as well as, broaden the scope beyond the textbook. There will be many stimulating and FUN educational activities for the students of SCS this year.

The Swap Shop is the uniform exchange program at St. Catherine. It is located in the Sr. Imelda Building above the Coop Office, near the school library. (It is accessed through the stairwell in the Coop Office.) Swap Shop needs volunteers to open the shop periodically throughout the year, and to manage Lost & Found.
