Honors Program: At the end of grade four, any students who have received all A's or B's throughout quarters 1-3 on their report card will be eligible to apply for the Honors Program. Only in special circumstances will students in grades 5 and 6 be invited to apply. Once eligible, interested students will take an entrance exam developed by our educators. After completion of the entrance exam, administration will also review standardized test scores (MAP, Star, and Terronova), and past academic performance. Once accepted, students will follow an honors Reading, Mathematics, and Science curriculum beginning in fift grade. Sixth and Seventh grade Honors students take Latin as their language.
Chromebooks: Our middle school program is one-to-one; each student has a Chromebook that is implemented throughout instruction daily. Teachers communicate assignments, assessment dates, and important classroom announcements through Google Classroom, which is updated daily.
Enrichment: Middle School students attend P.E. and Language (Spanish or Latin honors) twice per week. Each Friday, they take Art or Computer, which switch on a quarterly basis.
