Middle school students are immersed in the Catholic faith daily through prayer, reading, discussion, and service to the communty. They are taught to live a Christ-centered life as they build their relationships with our heavenly Father.
Focus
Fifth Grade: Students focus on Church history and its teachings, explore the meaning of the parts of the Mass and Liturgical Year, and delve into the Seven Sacraments as they learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
Sixth Grade: Students study the connection between the Old Testament and the New Testament in Scripture, understanding that Jesus is the fulfillment of all the Father had promised. Sith graders apply the study of Scripture to our lives and call to be a covenant people as they focus on John Paul II's Theology of the Body.
Seventh Grade: Students examine the New Testament, focusing on the life and teaching of Jesus Christ and the origin of the Church. Seventh graders contemplate morality, the gift of free will, formation of conscience, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church in relation to the example set by Jesus Christ.
