The St. Catherine of Siena Scholarship Fund was established in 2022 in order to provide financial support for those seeking a Catholic education at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. 

Scholarships established in the St. Catherine of Siena Scholarship Fund may be named in honor of someone suggested by the donor and agreed upon by St. Catherine of Siena.  This may be a graduate of St. Catherine of Siena, a friend of St. Catherine of Siena, or family member or friend of the donor.

A fully endowed SCHOLARSHIP FUND is $75,000. The annual return on the principal investment provides a partial scholarship each year.

A fully endowed FULL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND is $250,000. The annual return on the principal investment from a Full Education Scholarship provides a full scholarship each year.

A minimum gift of $10,000 is needed to start a new scholarship. When establishing a scholarship, the amount may be paid in one lump sum or in installments over a reasonable amount of time.  Stock transfers may also be used to support or endow a scholarship.

An endowed scholarship annually provides direct financial assistance to students in need who meet the criteria.  The criteria for a funded scholarship can be specified by the donor in agreement with St. Catherine of Siena. Listed below is the criteria for current scholarship funds.  The money dispersed is generally taken from interest earned and not from the principle.

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS IN PROGRESS:

• ANDRE NAVARRE SCHOLARSHIP (Est. 2022) - Andre Navarre, an SCS Class of 2012 graduate, tragically died in a car accident in 2020.  Rene and Kim Navarre, Andre's parents, established this scholarship in memory of their only child Andre.  The Andre Navarre Scholarship is awarded to a single parent family.

• CONEY FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP (Est. 2022) - Deacon Mike and Linda Coney highly valued the gift of Catholic education.  As parents of seven children, they also understand how expensive Catholic education can be with a large family.   The Coney Family Scholarship is awarded to Catholic families with four or more children in Catholic grammar and/or high school.  

• HELEN THIBERGE KNESEL SCHOLARSHIP (Est. 2002) - The Helen Thiberge Knesel Scholarship is awarded to students who are in financial need.
